The original painting of Peterborough Cathedral arrived safely yesterday and it is really lovely. Your father captured the character of this beautiful building exactly. A haven of peace and tranquility. Who would believe that just round the corner is a busy, modern city? Thank you so much. I shall enjoy feasting my eyes on the painting for years to come.

I met your father years ago in your gallery at Chigwell. I have always admired his work and have one of his prints of Thames barges at home. I found your late father a kind man, he spent over an hour of his valuable time giving me a painting lesson, which made me feel very special. I try to paint in watercolour and still remember his advice… if you really want to be an artist you’ll make it, but you’ve got to want it… When things are not going too well I always remember that and it keeps me going.

Best wishes from Canada! I was delighted to see your beautiful paintings of Adare. My husband’s family is from Adare and he has named his company after the village. I wish you a great day!

Yesterday I received the two prints of Thatched Cottages Adare. They are beautiful. They arrived in pristine condition and one will soon hang in a place of honor in my home. The second print will go to my cousin and his family. Five years ago they lost their 18 year old daughter in a tragic automobile accident here in the States. They and their late daughter also spent time in Adare. As a memorial, my family and I had a tree planted and a plaque installed in the village park in Adare. That tree and plaque are located just beyond the last cottage in the print, so you can see the print has a special meaning for me and my family. I will enjoy it for many years to come, for the many great memories of Adare that I have accumulated over the years and the sadness of the memorial I wish never needed to exist. Thanks again

Unfortunately I never knew Martin, but as a watercolour enthusiast I admire his work. I’m sure his memory will be kept alive by his lovely paintings.

I am sorry I haven’t e-mailed you since we received our first shipment of prints. I wanted to let you know I thought they were very beautiful. They are beautiful on the internet, but they are REALLY BEAUTIFUL in person. Thank you very much for shipping our order. We have sold several. I look forward to their success and hope we are able to place another order!

I am very interesting in purchasing some of these watercolor prints. I think they are beautiful. I just got back from England and Ireland and these would mean alot to me.

I was so very sorry to hear the sad news of your father. He and I were on the same artistic wavelength and I enjoyed working with him

Thank you for your prompt delivery of my 3 prints of Jersey. They are for a police officer who has retired from North Yorkshire Police after 30yrs service but was born in Jersey. From the collection we had we were able to purchase 3 Yew framed prints that arrived beautifully and rigorously packed within 5 days. We are delighted and l will certainly recommend your website to others

I am very sad that Martin has passed away especially so as my Dad has just died too and its very hard coming to terms with the loss of a parent, I guess it will take a while for me to accept. I must say that Martin’s site is so inspiring and I would love to know more information about his life and how it was that he managed to paint so many paintings I am just amazed at the volume of work he has done. I would like to thank you for the opportunity of viewing Martin’s wonderful site it has cheered me up on a dull day here in Scotland

I found your site via Google. I was searching on a few different variations of the phrase London scenes watercolours prints. Your site came up on the first or second page and is very easy to navigate and view images. Thank you.

Sir, I have just logged on to your web site for the first time in ages….moved house and went on long trip and it is a great shock to read that Martin Goode has passed away and a sad thing for the world of art. I really admire the N Ireland scenes

I recently purchased a print for a ridiculously small sum at a bootsale, I wish that I hadn’t gone on the bus, otherwise I’d have bought more! The print is hanging in my hall and is a pleasure to see on my way to work!

Just a line to let you know that the painting arrived this morning. It is absolutely beautiful and exceeds all expectations. I am sure that my friend will be equally pleased with it when she receives it for christmas! Thankyou for your first class service

I was pleased to find your web site, because I have admired Mr. Goode’s work since I began seeing it several months agao in magazine ads run by Royal Alberene. I was sorry to read of his death. I am glad you are continuing to make his work available to those of us just discovering it.

The painting was a present for one of our colleagues from Brussels who visits London frequently and stays at the Tower Hotel in London. When I was asked to find a suitable painting present at lunchtime on Thursday for delivery on Friday it was amazing that I happened to stumble upon your website and find something that was so suitable as the painting depicts the view from the hotel room that he always used on his visits, although this was unbeknown to me at the time of speaking with you. Our colleague was thrilled with the present and we all agree that your father was a really talented man.

Just a note to say I received my print today. My husbands family home is in the print and I am sure he will be very moved when he receives this as a Christmas present. The print is fantastic and the service was excellent, Thank you

Just a short note to say that the picture has arrived and I am very pleased with it, it captures our many holidays there!

Hi Vincent, Mum and Dad received the picture today and are overjoyed with it, thanks to your family for making another family so happy, with kindest regards,

It is with great sadness we heard of the passing of you talented father. It must be comforting to you all to know that as an artist his name will live on and his work bring pleasure for many many years to come.

I found your web site through the search engines, after hunting everywhere for a print of Port Erin. The reason for wanting this picture is that my Dad grew up in Port Erin, in fact just behind the lighthouse on your picture (Marina Drive) and so I think this would make a wonderful present for him.
